USA Pavilion at Food Ingredients Asia Indonesia 2026

The USA Pavilion will showcase a diverse range of high-quality U.S. food ingredients at Food Ingredients (Fi) Asia Indonesia 2026, taking place 16–18 September 2026 at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo), Jakarta. As ASEAN’s largest food and beverage ingredients exhibition, Fi Asia Indonesia is expected to welcome more than 24,000 industry professionals and over 700 exhibitors, providing an outstanding platform for networking, innovation, and business development across the region. The USA Pavilion will feature a growing lineup of leading U.S. companies and industry organizations—including Flavor Consultants, Ocean Spray, U.S. Dairy Export Council (USDEC), Actus Nutrition, Uncountable Inc., USA Pulses, Derco Foods, Commercial Creamery Company, and additional exhibitors to be announced—showcasing premium U.S. ingredients ranging from dairy ingredients, fruit ingredients, pulses, nuts, grains, proteins, specialty ingredients, flavors, and innovative food solutions. Visitors are invited to connect directly with U.S. suppliers and discover how the quality, consistency, innovation, and sustainability of U.S. agricultural products can help drive growth and product innovation in Indonesia’s dynamic food and beverage industry.

Rasa Amerika Showcases the Best of U.S. Agriculture at Food & Hospitality Indonesia (FHI) 2026

From 21–24 July 2026, USDA Indonesia’s Rasa Amerika participated in the 20th edition of Food & Hospitality Indonesia (FHI) 2026 at Hall C3 – Booth 6716, one of Indonesia’s premier international trade exhibitions for the food, beverage, and hospitality industries. Throughout the four-day event, the booth welcomed thousands of trade visitors and served more than 1,000 food samples, showcasing the quality, versatility, and innovation of U.S. agricultural products. Visitors enjoyed a diverse menu featuring U.S. beef, Alaskan seafood, Washington apples, California cheese, California almonds, California raisins, American pistachios, and chickpeas, highlighting how premium U.S. ingredients can be incorporated into both Western and Asian-inspired cuisine. Daily sampling included signature dishes such as U.S. Burgers, U.S. Beef Yakiniku with Pao, Mini Lasagna with California Cheese, Pan-Seared Alaskan Salmon with Gochujang Cream Sauce, Alaskan Pollock with Beurre Blanc, and a variety of desserts featuring Washington apples, California raisins, almonds, and pistachios. Rasa Amerika’s participation reinforced USDA’s commitment to expanding awareness and demand for U.S. agricultural products in Indonesia while connecting with importers, distributors, foodservice professionals, retailers, chefs, and other key industry stakeholders attending FHI 2026, a leading platform for business networking and innovation in Indonesia’s growing food and hospitality sector.

Rasa Amerika Featured at Freedom 250 Makassar Roadshow with Chef Vindex Tengker

On March 28, 2026, the “Rasa Amerika” campaign participated in the Freedom 250 Makassar Roadshow at Nipah Mall, Makassar, featuring an engaging cooking demonstration that highlighted the versatility and quality of U.S. agricultural products. Following a tour of the U.S. booths at the expo, Charge d’Affaires Peter Haymond of the U.S. Embassy Jakarta joined renowned Indonesian celebrity chef Vindex Tengker on the main stage for a live culinary showcase. The session attracted strong interest from visitors, reflecting growing enthusiasm for U.S. food ingredients among Indonesian consumers.

During the demonstration, Chef Vindex prepared three dishes that creatively combined premium U.S. ingredients with Indonesian flavors:

  • Spiced sausage rolls with California raisins and U.S. apples
  • Crispy beef rica-rica, featuring U.S. beef striploin and California mozzarella cheese
  • Sticky Medjool date pudding with toffee and passion fruit sauce

Throughout the session, Chef Vindex highlighted how U.S. ingredients, known for their consistent quality, safety, and taste, can be incorporated into Indonesian cuisine, from savory dishes to desserts. The interactive format allowed the audience to engage directly, with questions and discussions on cooking techniques and ingredient applications.

The event also encouraged visitors to explore the “Rasa Amerika” booths across the exhibition, where a variety of U.S. products were showcased. Featured products included California raisins, U.S. Medjool dates, California cheese, U.S. apples, and U.S. beef, presented in collaboration with partners such as Indoguna and Primasari Eterna. Overall, the cooking demonstration showcased the versatility and culinary potential of U.S. agricultural products, while strengthening awareness and interest among Indonesian consumers and industry stakeholders.

Indonesian celebrity Chef Eddrian Tjhia delighted audiences at the Freedom 250 Block Party at Mega Mall Batam Centre, demonstrating the quality and versatility of U.S. agricultural products. Chef Eddrian prepared healthy, Ramadan-inspired dishes featuring premium American ingredients, including Washington apples, California Medjool dates, and California raisins.

Known for his commitment to balanced, wholesome cooking, Chef Eddrian highlighted how U.S. agricultural products align perfectly with Indonesia’s growing interest in healthy lifestyle choices.
